We are home!

We made it home at about our 25th hour of being awake Wednesday evening, what a long day. The drive from the airport was brutal and not because of Angel, she slept the entire 5.5 hour drive, it was the staying awake. We made several stops to move a little. Glad that is all over.

Our kids were at the house upon our arrival home and got to meet Angel for the first time. After taking it all in, she took to them quite fast. The kids and our friends had the house decorated with Welcome Home signs, pictures they had drawn and balloons. So very sweet of them.




Angel is loving the attention from the kids for the most part, you'll see in the photo where she sat down with them to watch TV within a few minutes of meeting them. She and Kailey have become fast buddies, Logan loves to show her new toys and Michiael picks her up and carries her around. They are so very cute. Angel is a great motivator in getting them up and ready for school, usually the kids aren't all that quick in the morning but yesterday morning they were ready quite early so they could play with Angel. They even want to get up early so they can play with her before going to school.



Angel has her initial appointment with the pediatrician this afternoon so we hope for a good report. Crossing our fingers she doesn't throw a big fit like she did at the medical exam on Saturday. Will let you all know how that goes.
