Suprise, Surgery is Monday, Not Thursday

So I took Angel in for her pre-op physical today and it's a good thing we did. For one, we discovered she has the beginning of an ear infection in her left ear and two, on the way home from the appointment I got a call from the hospital where she will be having surgery next week. The call wasn't unusual, they called before her first surgery for some pre-op information which is what they were calling and toclarified that she was scheduled for surgery on Monday- um, no, Thursday. She was right, I called the surgeons nurse and she was very apologetic and wasn't exactly sure when the date changed and how we weren't notified but the doc will be out on Thursday, so Monday it is.

So here I am in overdrive trying to re plan everything. I know it will all come together, I'm just more anxious now than I was.

So Angel and I, plus a good friend (if everything falls into place for her), will be leaving for Chicago on Sunday afternoon, about 48 hours from now.

Please keep Angel in your prayers Monday morning. She will go into surgery at 9:30am (Central Time) and they say it will take at least 3 hours. Thanks ahead of time for all your blessings.
